PRIORITIES

The families of District 39 are not being served by the current State Representative, Luis Terrazas. Here’s my plan for District 39:

• Healthcare: One-third of Grant County residents and 60% of our children are on Medicaid. But Trump has already slashed Medicaid and caused enormous increases in health insurance costs. New Mexicans need relief—funding for Medicaid; reductions in health insurance premiums, drug costs, and medical debt; and more doctors, nurses, and dentists for our corner of the State.

• Affordability: Families are struggling to make ends meet. The price of housing is too high. Food and energy costs continue to go through the roof. Salaries are definitely not keeping up with inflation. I will help homeowners and renters alike and take on big utilities to end price-gouging.

• Protecting our People: From my time in the Assessor’s Office and in the Navy, I know firsthand that seniors and veterans deserve our respect and support. They should be first in line for tax relief and services, including housing and mental health and wellbeing.
